A verdade não é falada através da raiva. A verdade é falada, se alguma vez vier a ser falada, através do amor.
É inimaginável, talvez; mas o inimaginável está lá para ser imaginado.
Eu exorto-vos: não destruam esses vossos comboios de pensamento. Sigam-nos até ao seu fim. Os vossos pensamentos e sentimento. Sigam-nos constantemente e irão crescer com eles.
Eu não sou o «nós» de ninguém.
Ele não sabe o que é a liberdade. A liberdade é uma palavra, menos que uma palavra, menos que um ruído, um de uma multitude de ruídos que eu faço quando abro a minha boca.
A história carece de vida a menos que lhe proporciones um lugar na tua consciência.
As palavras são moedas. As palavras alienam. A linguagem não é um meio para o desejo. O desejo é o êxtase, não a troca.
Se tiveres reservas sobre o sistema e quiseres mudá-lo, o argumento democrático diz, fá-lo dentro do sistema: coloque-se como candidato a um cargo político, submeta-se ao escrutínio e ao voto dos seus concidadãos. A democracia não permite que se faça política fora do sistema democrático. Nesse sentido, a democracia é um sistema totalitário.
Na sua própria opinião, que ele não transmite, é que a origem da fala reside na canção, e as origens da canção na necessidade de preencher com som a imensa e muito vazia alma humana.
O temperamento de uma pessoa é fixo, definido. O crânio, seguido do temperamento: as duas partes mais duras do corpo. Siga o seu temperamento. Não é uma filosofia, é uma regra.
